Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Reward Blitz Cost? Currently, the Reward Blitz App is a subscription service that costs $99 per year. The companion app, Rewards Blitz Leaderboard is a one-time purchase of $9.99.
Do you have to purchase wristbands to use the Rewards Blitz App? Nope, you can use your own NFC wristbands or cards. Rewards Blitz allows you to also use QR codes and manually add and search names and numbers. We do offer a variety of bands you can purchase that are ready to be assigned and are customizable to your organization. Rewards Blitz cannot offer support for types of media (NFC or QR codes) that are not purchased directly from Reward Blitz (JMC Creative Ltd).
What type of devices are compatiable? Rewards Blitz has been tested on the latest iPhones and Galaxy Phones. The app should work on any NFC capable phone for iOS and Android devices but is not guaranteed. The leaderboard app is designed for tablets only and does not need to have NFC capabilities.
How do I pay for the App? All yearly or one-time payments are handle by the App Store or Google Play store marketplaces. You cannot purchase the apps on this site. You can purchase wristbands, cards and other products in our store. Click here to visit.
Can I organize my list into groups or teams? At this time, each account only has one general list. We are already planning on adding a groups/teams feature in a future update.
Is there a limit to the number of people I can have in my account? At this time, there is a 200 people limit. If you need more, please contact us so we can increase that limit. Currently there is not a charge for this but in the future there will be a small fee to add additional blocks of people. We will share more soon.
How long will it take to get my wristbands? If you are ordering any of our stock Reward Blitz bands or cards, your order will ship out in 2-3 business days and be delivered using the shipping method you selected during checkout. If ordering custom wristbands, the time varies based on quantity. For a normal order under 500 with a one-color imprint, it is estimated to take around 15-20 business days. Contact us to get an exact quote based on your needs.
The app is not reading the wristbands? Reward Blitz utilizes the NFC reader/writer built into your phone. In most cases, this sensor is near the top of the phone. For example, the best place to tap a wristband or card on an iPhone is the top left corner of the device. Our recommendation is to tap each corner of your device to find the correct spot.
Does the Reward Blitz App work on iPads and tablets? Reward Blitz utilizes the NFC reader/writer built into your phone. In most cases, tablets (including iPads) do not have NFC readers/writers built into them like phones do. You will need to connect an NFC reader to the tablet for NFC functions to work. At this time, we have not tested these accessories and cannot provide support for the Reward Blitz App on tablets. However, the Reward Blitz Leaderboard app is designed for tablets and does not need NFC capabilities to operate.
Is there a way for students, children, or people of the list to check their individual score? Not at the moment, but we are working on a way in the future for individuals to be able to check their score. You as the leader can check anyone's score in your organization at any time using the app.
Do participants need to have the app installed? Nope, only you as the leader need to install the app.
Is the information secure? Privacy is extremely important to us and we designed this system to be secure. All payment processing is done through Apple & Google for the subscriptions and App purchases. Wristband, cards, and other accessories store purchases are all handled through Square. Reward Blitz/JMC Creative Ltd does not store this data. The data we do gather is the Leader Name and email address. The names of the individuals you add are also stored on our secure servers. Only you can access your organization's list of names, no one else can. In the Reward Blitz Leaderboard app, only the first name and last initial are displayed for privacy. The leaderboard app displays your organization's name at the top.
